COVID-19 // How will we operate on Level 2
This is just a quick update to let everyone know that we will be open and operating in a slightly different way in accordance with the Government Guidelines of Alert Level 3 on Wednesday 8th of September 2021.
We will be complying with all Government guidelines. We ask that you also comply with recommendations, particularly the use of a face covering, distancing and scanning the Covid-19 Tracer QR code which we will have displayed onsite.
COVID GUIDELINES
- In Retail businesses you legally must wear a face covering if you are aged 12 or over.
- Use the NZ COVID Tracer app if you can. There will be QR codes clearly displayed on various location in the shop as well as pen and paper for manual entry.
- Even if you have been vaccinated, you still need to follow the rules to keep everyone safe.
- Our operating hours are back to normal.
SHOP IN-STORE
Our physical store and workshop are open for public.
ONLINE ORDERS
We will have contactless pick up or delivery service available and we’ll endeavour to dispatch your orders daily. If you are choosing Click and collect we will advise when your order is ready for collection via email.
WORKSHOP BIKE REPAIRS AND SERVICES
The workshop will be running as per booking capacity.
If you wish to pay for your service prior to coming please give us a call on 03 384 0355 and we will pass the payment details on. We encourage contactless payment and we will have a pay-wave terminals.

We will be complying with all Government guidelines. We ask that you also comply with recommendations, particularly the use of a face covering, distancing and scanning the Covid Tracer QR code which we will have displayed onsite.
Our hours will change slightly for this period:Â
Monday – Friday | 9am – 5pmÂ
Saturday | 10am – 3pm
All operations will be contactless, we’ll have staff working onsite, we’ll be available to field calls.Â
SHOP IN-STORE
Our physical store won’t be open for public but we can do video calls if required to help walk you through any purchase or decision making. We will have staff at the retail-side of building to assist you with any purchase, we can grab any products you wish to purchase and payment can be made contactless.
Bikes can be also be purchased, we have a bike showroom on our website.
We can talk you through any bike purchase, handover can be done via video, we will advise collection and/or drop off methods at the time of purchase.
ONLINE ORDERS
We will have contactless pick up or delivery service available and we’ll endeavour to dispatch your orders daily. If you are choosing Click and collect option please wait until we confirm time slot when you can collect your order.
WORKSHOP BIKE REPAIRS AND SERVICES
The workshop will be running as close to capacity as safely as possible. Any repairs can be booked by:

During our revised business hours, we will have a workshop drop off and collection area at the workshop size of building. If you made a booking you can leave your bike and lock it on a designated rack, we will be at the doors to collect your details. After sanitising your bike we will transfer it into the shop to complete repairs.

Specialized Safety Recall Notice
This is a Specialized Safety Recall Notice Regarding a small number of battery packs sold as original equipment on and as aftermarket equipment for use with  1st Gen Turbo Levo/Kenevo mountain bikes, manufactured between November 2017 and March 2019.
Hazard
Repeated pressure washing can cause conductive water to penetrate the seal around the Control Pad which can trigger a short circuit and lead to a thermal runaway event, posing fire and burn hazards.
Remedy
Go to your nearest Authorized Specialized Retailer for an inspection and repair of the battery pack. Do not charge the battery pack until your Authorized Specialized Retailer has repaired it. If your battery pack has 50% or more charge, you should ride your bike as soon as possible and reduce the charge to less than 50% before bringing it to your retailer.
