Shipping and returns policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Cycleways Christchurch. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.


All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars, and are subject to change without notice. Final price, with GST and Shipping included, will be displayed at the checkout page before final payment transaction. Kindly note that to be able to purchase and complete a payment from overseas, you will have to enter a New Zealand billing address.

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. All deliveries will be made by our preferred courier Aramex (Fastway) New Zealand. We currently do not ship outside the New Zealand.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur. Please allow additional delivery times of up to five business days if your order is placed within two days of the following public holidays:

  • Waitangi Day
  • Good Friday
  • Easter Monday
  • ANZAC Day
  • Queen’s Birthday
  • Labour Day
  • Canterbury Anniversary
  • Christmas Day
  • Boxing Day

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. To track your parcel, please follow this link.

Please note – your order is collected by Aramex New Zealand courier; we have no control over it. Any enquiries about your delivery need to be directed to the Aramex New Zealand courier. Please also keep in mind that orders can be held up due to busy sales periods or public holidays.

Damaged items

Cycleways is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged please contact us and we will file a claim with Aramex. If you wish to file a claim yourself, please file it here here.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Our Return & Refund Policy provides detailed information about options and procedures for returning your online order. If you are looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we are here to help. Please give us a call on 03 384 0355 to discuss further options. In some cases we can exchange items for free or issue a store credit.

If you would like to return a faulty item, please email us on within 24 hours of receiving the item, including a photo if the fault is visible.

You will need to return the item to us for inspection (at your own cost) and we will organise a replacement (or credit) for you as per our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act. All items must be returned unused and in their original packaging. You will need to provide a proof of purchase.

If we are unable to supply your order after you have confirmed your purchase, we will refund you in full. Refunds will be issued by direct deposit to your credit card.

If you want to return the item for any other reason, we will issue only a refund of the purchased item, not the shipping fee. Such item has to be shipped back to us in 10 working days at the customers cost.

Please allow up to 10 days for the transaction to process. The card issuer controls the timing of returned funds. Please contact your card issuer for details. Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:

  • Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
  • Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original packaging
  • Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use

We will endeavour to ensure that information provided through this website is accurate and current. However, we cannot, and do not, represent or warrant the accuracy, adequacy, completeness of information on this website or that it is up to date. For example: Prices and colours of products may change, and all products are subject to availability.

  • Variations to products may occur from time to time for various reasons.
  • Description of products are summaries only (with further information available on request to us);
  • Due to technical or human error, information may be recorded incorrectly or omitted.
