The Vala is for the rider who wants a premium carbon frame, with meticulously tuned ride quality, and suspension kinematics that result in a perfectly balanced trail bike with the power for lap after lap.

The Geometry - Let's Crunch Some Numbers

The Santa Cruz Vala has 150mm of rear travel, 160mm front travel and mixed 29/27.5" wheel sizes. Just like the Bronson, which is also a 150/160mm mixed wheel trail bike, the Vala is a core trail bike but with the added power of a motor to get you there faster.

Sizing

Sizing can always vary due to preference and body proportions, of course. When it comes to preference, if you want a more stable bike, the larger frame will do that while the shorter frame will be more nimble with its shorter wheelbase. As far as body proportions, if you're more armsy than legsy, and you're in between sizes, you might size up. But if you're running more of a T-Rex setup, you might size down to the shorter reach so them comically short arms can reach the handlebars.

What is the warranty on a Santa Cruz Vala?

Santa Cruz frames come with a lifetime warranty for the original owner. They also offer free replacement pivot bearings to the original owner for as long as they own the bike. Their Reserve Carbon wheels have a lifetime warranty on the rim for damage done while riding. Bosch components have a two-year manufacturer's warranty.

Built Right. All bikes are first properly built by us and test ridden at our Christchurch shop before being carefully re-boxed to ship to you. We can have the wheels setup tubeless and suspension setup, so you're all ready to go out of the box.
